Where It All Began

Ciao! We’re Paolo and Andrea, two brothers from Rome, and we’re proud to bring our vision of refined Italian dining to the heart of Altrincham.

We grew up around a table where food was never rushed and flavour was never negotiable. Food was a way of being together, of showing care, of respecting what was on the plate. Our cooking comes from the homes and trattorie of Rome, bold but balanced, simple yet deeply expressive, always rooted in respect for ingredients and tradition. Those early lessons still guide everything we do.

Today, as the new owners of this restaurant, we bring that Roman soul into a modern, elegant dining experience. Our aim is not to reinvent Italian food, but to honour it, refining each dish with care, technique and a sense of style that feels contemporary without losing its warmth.

Our menu reflects who we are. You’ll find subtle touches of Roman tradition throughout, reimagined with balance, quality and restraint. We focus on seasonal produce, carefully sourced ingredients and time-honoured methods, letting each element speak for itself. No shortcuts, no compromises.

For us, hospitality matters just as much as what’s on the plate. We want this to be a place where guests feel genuinely welcome, comfortable and looked after, whether you’re joining us for a celebration or simply a relaxed dinner.
